Group Consolidation Controller (IFRS)

Location: Hybrid role available in Belgium at 60% employment or in Mauritius as a full-time position. No travel between Belgium and Mauritius is required.

What you will do

• Support the monthly group consolidation and reporting process.
• Analyze reported figures, ensure data consistency, and help resolve intercompany reconciliation differences.
• Support the setup and management of consolidation tools.
• Monitor group-account compliance with IFRS and contribute to process improvements and training.
• Prepare and update group finance policies and support periodic compliance reviews.
• Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and presentations for management decision-making while supporting finance teams across countries.

Requirements

• At least four years of experience in a similar financial accounting or auditing role.
• Good practical knowledge of IFRS.
• Interest in finance tools and strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data analysis.
• Affinity with identifying risks and determining suitable internal controls for finance processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, accuracy, and professional-skepticism skills.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills are required.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial consolidation.
• Knowledge of consolidation software, preferably Tagetik.
