DevOps Engineer at Galileo SCCF (Space)

Location: Hybrid work in Tres Cantos/Madrid, Hospitalet de Llobregat/Barcelona, Boecillo/Valladolid, Sevilla, Valencia, or Zaragoza, Spain. Includes up to 8 weeks per year of teleworking outside the usual geographical area.

What you will do

• Develop and operate robust, secure, and highly available infrastructure platforms for Galileo SCCF software.
• Use Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, Python, and Bash for infrastructure automation and delivery.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure-related technical issues and improve system efficiency.
• Support integration with Galileo teams, including GCS prime and other GCS elements.
• Collaborate with the European Space Agency and SCCF operators through reviews, technical workshops, and formal testing milestones.
• Work closely with the Senior DevOps Engineer and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

• Experience with Linux, MySQL, Jenkins, Bash, and Python.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, including Bash or Python.
• Experience with infrastructure as code using Ansible.
• Linux system administration experience.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model from one of the listed Spain locations.
