What you will do

• Design, debug, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines for speed, reliability, and maintainability.
• Diagnose and resolve build failures, flaky tests, and deployment issues.
• Automate secret management and rotation across environments.
• Integrate pipelines with external systems (GitLab, cloud providers, Kubernetes, third-party APIs).
• Develop and maintain automation tooling, primarily in Python.
• Collaborate closely with developers and infrastructure engineers to refine build, test, and deployment workflows.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms, preferably GitLab CI.
• Excellent Python skills and ability to work effectively in large, unfamiliar codebases.
• Proven ability to debug complex pipeline and deployment issues end-to-end.
• Experience with secret management systems (e.g., HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager).
• Solid understanding of REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Nice to have

• Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, Ansible, Helm).
• Shell scripting skills.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Loki).
• Experience with asynchronous Python.
• Background in build and deployment optimization.
