DevOps Software Architect – S&I (Services and Infrastructure)

Location: Getafe Area, Spain; hybrid working model with 40% remote work and on-site facilities.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain secure on-premise Kubernetes clusters for highly integrated aerospace systems.
• Manage containerised deployments, services, networking, and Linux-based containers with Docker.
• Automate infrastructure configuration and provisioning using Ansible and Terraform.
• Manage code and configurations in local repositories and secure, air-gapped environments.
• Administer Linux and Windows systems, troubleshoot issues, and optimise performance.
• Configure secure networking and storage, and build centralised logging, alerting, and automation with Python and Bash.

Requirements

• Degree in a relevant engineering field or equivalent practical experience in a DevOps or systems environment.
• Proven experience managing Kubernetes clusters, including cluster management and networking.
• Strong Linux and Windows administration skills.
• Knowledge of network protocols, secure connections, and firewalls.
• Comfort working in secure, air-gapped environments.
• Full professional proficiency in English is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are expected.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of German and/or French.
• Experience with network security, threat mitigation, microservices, and service mesh technologies.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
