Configuration Management Engineer (IoT)

Location: Sant Joan Despí, Barcelona, Spain; hybrid schedule with 3 days of remote work

What you will do

• Manage CI/CD pipelines and configure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
• Maintain infrastructure and servers, including monitoring system health, application performance, and uptime.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and resolve issues with software development teams.
• Maintain a secure, high-security air-gapped network zone and automate embedded security and compliance controls.
• Manage vulnerability patching and enforce strict access controls through Identity and Access Management.
• Improve infrastructure processes, tools, and methodologies in collaboration with developers, system architects, and product owners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with CI/CD and knowledge of DevOps processes and workflows.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, C, or C++.
• Experience with project tracking and documentation tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Terraform, OpenTofu, Nexus, or Kubernetes.
• Experience with Linux or Windows server administration.
• Experience working in a high-security air-gapped network.
• Knowledge of smartcards and telecommunications standards such as ETSI, GSMA, GlobalPlatform, or Java Card.
