Business Analyst (EU)

Location: EU-based role available in Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the Netherlands

Salary: EUR 2,250–3,600 gross per month

What you will do

• Bridge business, data, reporting, and technical teams to elicit and translate business, regulatory, data, and analytics requirements.
• Analyze legacy IRIS capabilities and source systems, including Sapiens, to define data products, KPIs, dashboards, and analytics.
• Define data requirements, source-to-target mappings, business rules, transformation logic, data definitions, and acceptance criteria across IRIS, Sapiens, and EDAM.
• Support data modeling, semantic models, governed datasets, data migration, reconciliation, validation, and UAT.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and Architects to ensure requirements are feasible, traceable, and correctly implemented.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, manage dependencies and risks, support MVP prioritization, and contribute to data governance, lineage, metadata, and data quality practices.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in data-intensive transformation programs.
• Strong experience in data analysis, data business analysis, requirements elicitation, stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation.
• Understanding of data modeling, data flows, data mapping, data transformation, source-to-target mappings, and business rules.
• Experience with reporting, BI, data platforms, enterprise data products, data migration, reconciliation, and validation.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business language and define user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• English proficiency at Intermediate+ level or above is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in retail, financial services, insurance, or other regulated industries.
• Knowledge of Azure, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience with data governance, metadata, data lineage, data quality, Data Mesh, or enterprise data platforms.
• Exposure to AI-enabled analytics, semantic models, agentic AI solutions, or Agile/Scrum delivery.
