Business Analyst (Documentum)

Location: Bucharest, Romania; remote workplace

What you will do

• Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements, acceptance criteria, business rules, and implementable specifications.
• Analyze system interactions, dependencies, data exchanges, error paths, and synchronous or asynchronous integration patterns.
• Define and review REST and SOAP API requirements, including endpoints, payloads, validations, status codes, and error handling.
• Document data mappings, JSON/XML structures, transformations, validation rules, and document management use cases.
• Prepare process models, context diagrams, sequence flows, integration diagrams, test scenarios, and validation materials.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, development, QA, security, operations, and platform teams while maintaining end-to-end traceability.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of overall IT or Business Analysis experience, including 5 years in enterprise applications or complex digital platforms.
• At least 3 years of experience in integration analysis, API analysis, or technical requirements definition.
• At least 3 years of experience defining functional requirements, acceptance criteria, business rules, and end-to-end process flows.
• At least 2 years of experience with API testing, data mapping, or integration validation using Postman, Insomnia, or equivalent tools.
• Experience collaborating with business, development, architecture, and QA teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Experience with OpenText Documentum, ECM platforms, or document integrations is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in banking, financial services, or another highly regulated industry.
• Experience using enterprise-approved generative AI tools for requirements refinement, scenario generation, impact analysis, and documentation.
