Senior Data Engineer (AWS Redshift)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain dbt models using existing Amazon Redshift pipelines.
• Analyze and deconstruct legacy T-SQL stored procedures from SQL Server.
• Rewrite legacy logic as modular, optimized Redshift SQL models with dbt.
• Architect the dbt project structure and establish production best practices.
• Execute and optimize batch data transformation workflows in Redshift.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor the internal engineering team on data modeling.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in dbt Core, including production use, model structuring, and best-practice development.
• Deep knowledge of Amazon Redshift and columnar database optimization.
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to understand legacy T-SQL and rewrite it in Redshift SQL.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
