Senior Big Data Engineer (Snowflake+dbt): Building and improving scalable cloud-based data solutions and ELT pipelines with an accent on AWS, Snowflake, Python, SQL, dbt, and Airflow. Focus on optimizing query performance, modeling and processing large datasets, and implementing reliable data platforms across the full project lifecycle.
Location: Ukraine; work format: remote or office

What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, Snowflake, and dbt.
- Build and optimize cloud-based data solutions in AWS environments.
- Work with large datasets to improve query performance and processing efficiency.
- Develop and maintain workflow orchestration with Airflow or similar tools.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver data solutions.
- Contribute to architecture discussions, data modeling, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement from PoC and MVP stages through production.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
- Strong expertise in AWS cloud services and Snowflake.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Extensive experience implementing ELT processes with dbt.
- Hands-on experience with Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
- Strong knowledge of query optimization, data modeling, large-scale data processing, and collaboration.
- Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency required.
