Junior Solution Architect – Cloud-Native, IaaS & AI Infrastructure (m/f/d)

Location: Getafe Area, Spain; hybrid working model when possible.

What you will do

• Assist with architecture for physical server topologies, bare-metal deployments, datacenter capacity, and IaaS layers.
• Evaluate rack space, power delivery, thermal handling, and cooling requirements for high-density GPU nodes.
• Design and integrate virtualized infrastructure, bare-metal systems, and Kubernetes or OpenShift container platforms.
• Help build high-throughput block, file, persistent container, and S3 object storage alongside robust networking layers.
• Support connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and sovereign or hybrid cloud environments.
• Participate in Change Advisory Boards and Problem Management, including platform-change evaluation and root-cause analysis.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, Network Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in systems engineering, IaaS platforms, or core IT infrastructure, including practical IT operations and monitoring.
• Foundational knowledge of enterprise servers, datacenter design, virtualization, and IaaS concepts, including GPU server requirements.
• Basic Linux administration and container-orchestration knowledge with Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, CNI, and enterprise storage such as SAN, NAS, distributed storage, or S3.
• Fluent English is required, plus proficiency or native capability in Spanish, German, French, or English.
