Migration Leader (Data & AI)

Location: Boadilla del Monte, Madrid, Spain. Hybrid working model with some days remote and some days onsite.

What you will do

• Define and maintain the migration roadmap, including migration waves, sequencing, execution plans, milestones, governance, and success criteria.
• Coordinate migration planning and execution across technology domains and workstreams, aligning activities with target architecture and transformation objectives.
• Manage dependencies, risks, issues, blockers, mitigation actions, and escalation through governance channels.
• Ensure readiness of environments, tooling, documentation, operational support processes, cutover activities, and transition plans.
• Coordinate business, architecture, engineering, operations, external delivery partners, and system integrators.
• Report progress to senior stakeholders, governance boards, steering committees, and executive reviews while supporting data and analytics platform modernization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience delivering large-scale technology transformation programs.
• Proven experience leading complex migration initiatives in enterprise data and analytics environments.
• Strong knowledge of migration methodologies, cloud-native architectures, data platform modernization, dependency mapping, and migration sequencing.
• Experience with release and cutover management, program governance, risk management, security, compliance controls, and Agile delivery models.
• Experience managing stakeholders across business and technology functions and coordinating external delivery partners and system integrators.
• Strong strategic thinking, executive communication, structured problem-solving, stakeholder influence, decision-making, risk management, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Experience with cloud migration programs and modern data, analytics, and distributed platforms.
• Experience in highly regulated industries.
• Experience leading migration assessments and migration factories.
