TL;DR
Senior IT Project Manager (Agile/Scrum): Managing complex IT and digital projects in the corporate banking sector with an accent on Agile delivery, Scrum ceremonies, stakeholder coordination, and project governance. Focus on prioritizing backlogs, monitoring delivery metrics, mitigating risks and dependencies, and driving Agile adoption across multicultural teams.
Location: Hybrid work in Lisbon or Porto, Portugal, with remote work up to 3 days per week. Candidates must already have the legal right to work in the European Union.

What you will do
- Plan, manage, and deliver complex IT and digital projects aligned with strategic objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Define project scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies while maintaining transparent stakeholder communication.
- Lead Scrum ceremonies and promote Agile principles, practices, tools, and change management initiatives.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, development teams, testers, and business stakeholders to maximize value delivery and product quality.
- Prioritize the product backlog with the Product Owner and monitor metrics such as velocity, defect rate, and BurnDown/BurnUp.
- Prepare steering reports and ensure compliance with security, quality, and governance standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing IT or digital projects with a proven Agile/Scrum background.
- Fluent French, both oral and written, is required.
- Scrum Master certification such as PSM or CSM, or equivalent expertise.
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycles, DevOps practices, Agile methodologies, and project portfolio management.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Existing legal right to work in the European Union is required.
Nice to have
- PMP, PRINCE2, or PSPO certification.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, and testing tools.
- Experience leading multi-site or multicultural projects.
- Knowledge of product management metrics such as KPIs and OKRs.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Trello, or Asana.
