Microsoft Security Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Scope and perform security baseline assessments of customer Microsoft environments.
• Assess identity and user management, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, and Azure configurations.
• Analyse environments against security best practices and identify gaps.
• Translate technical findings into clear, actionable, business-relevant recommendations.
• Hand over validated recommendations to implementation teams across Microsoft and other technology ecosystems.
• Help shape and grow a new Microsoft security audit practice.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience working with Microsoft environments.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft security and identity technologies, including Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Azure, and identity management.
• Ability to work independently, plan an audit, and manage it from scoping through recommendations.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to present technical findings to customers.
• Fluent English and fluent French and/or Dutch required.
• Already living in Belgium and able to come to the Zaventem office.

• Relevant Microsoft certifications.
• Interest in cybersecurity vendors and technologies beyond the Microsoft stack.
