Linux Security Engineer (DevOps)

What you will do

• Maintain, optimize, monitor, and improve business-critical applications, platforms, and Linux-based back-end systems.
• Design and implement secure, reliable, scalable, and automated end-to-end solutions using DevOps and DevSecOps practices.
• Integrate applications, infrastructure, services, and workflows while identifying infrastructure requirements.
• Support production operations, service reliability, performance improvement, incident response, and on-call rotations.
• Research emerging technologies, create proofs of concept, and contribute to their adoption.
• Identify risks and dependencies, maintain technical documentation, and collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of Open Systems, Mainframe architectures, and package integration.
• Ability to understand and adapt to complex technical environments, tools, and frameworks.
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work autonomously and take ownership.
• Fluent English and required knowledge of Dutch and/or French.

• Hands-on experience with RiskShield.
