Space Systems Electrical System Architect (Aerospace)

Location: Getafe, Madrid, Spain; hybrid working model when possible.

What you will do

• Specify, decompose, develop, and integrate electrical and electronic systems and subsystems for satellite platforms and payloads.
• Define electrical system architectures, equipment requirements, verification strategies, test specifications, and verification documentation.
• Manage electrical interfaces, harnesses, power budgets, power distribution, grounding, and EMC aspects.
• Coordinate technical follow-up of subcontracted equipment, including FPGA, ASIC, and software sub-developments.
• Support system integration, testing, anomaly investigation, non-conformance reviews, and technical reviews with suppliers.
• Prepare technical documentation, presentations, proposals, and, when required, detailed electronic circuit designs.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• More than 5 years of experience in space system projects, satellite electrical subsystems, and equipment.
• Experience with requirements management and subcontractor technical management.
• Experience in electronics design, EMC engineering, and electronics analysis according to ESA ECSS standards.
• Advanced English and advanced Spanish are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Altium design tools.
• Programming experience in Python.
