Field Service Technician (Medical Devices)

Location: Nashville, Tennessee, with on-site hospital assignments across the United States

Salary: $30.00–$32.00 per hour

What you will do

• Install, update, configure, and service infusion pumps and related medical devices.
• Install and configure hardware, software, and network products.
• Organize and test devices, conduct routine checks, and record product test data.
• Provide communication and technical support to hospital staff on site.
• Submit daily documentation and maintain product support quality standards.
• Work an assignment-based schedule with a 40-hour weekly commitment and overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Associate degree, equivalent military training, or equivalent biomedical or technical field service experience, with 3–5 years of field experience.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to troubleshoot project setup, technical issues, and closeouts using multiple software programs.
• Professional communication, business acumen, time management, and organizational skills.
• Active, unrestricted driver license and a personal vehicle in good running condition for local work-related assignments.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively, sit and stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to complete hospital vendor credentialing and required immunization checks, including proof of vaccination status.

Nice to have

• Background in biomedical, networking, military, or field-based technician roles.
• Technical experience in a healthcare environment.
• Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and OneNote.
