Scheduler (Fuel Logistics)

Location: Wishart Rd Office, Berrimah, Northern Territory, Australia. Onsite Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, 38 hours per week, with shared after-hours phone coverage.

hirify.global operates a wholesale fuels business supplying B2B and B2C customers across retail, agribusiness, fishing, transport, mining, and other industries in Australia.

What you will do

• Plan fuel loads and daily delivery schedules for metro Darwin and surrounding customers in accordance with transport regulations.
• Review and maintain stock levels at vendor-managed sites and internal depot locations.
• Optimize fleet schedules and maximize product deliveries to customer tanks.
• Provide delivery updates and maintain regular communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Resolve schedule and truck availability changes in real time, developing practical solutions to maintain operational continuity.
• Participate in shared after-hours phone coverage and adjust schedules when required.

Requirements

• Strong organization, proactivity, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and fleet and driver capabilities.
• Knowledge of road transport logistics, including dangerous goods, Chain of Responsibility, and fatigue laws.
• General logistics management experience and familiarity with HSSE requirements.
• Full working rights for employment in Australia are required.

Nice to have

• Experience scheduling bulk fuel or other goods and services.
• Knowledge of bulk fuel operations and day-to-day operational challenges.
• Fatigue Management accreditation.
• Experience using ERP systems.
