What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop the logistics team while managing workload allocation, resource planning, and operational coverage.
• Oversee daily warehouse picking, packing, dispatch, inventory movements, packaging supplies, and customer delivery outcomes.
• Manage freight forwarders, carriers, couriers, customs brokers, freight rates, service agreements, and shipment exceptions.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments and ensure accurate commercial invoices, packing declarations, certificates, and other shipping documentation.
• Lead logistics planning for trade shows, exhibitions, customer demonstrations, R&D projects, and specialised shipments.
• Maintain safe, compliant, audit-ready operations and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, transportation, or supply chain operations, including domestic and international freight and customs.
• Experience leading and developing operational teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience coordinating complex or project-based logistics activities and specialised shipments.
• Current Australian Forklift Licence (LF) required.
• Advanced knowledge of international logistics, import/export processes, customs requirements, freight forwarding, carrier management, Incoterms, and transportation planning.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion or a similar ERP system, freight management platforms, and intermediate-to-advanced Microsoft Excel and Office.

Nice to have

• Experience in a manufacturing, regulated, or quality-driven environment.
• Formal qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, international trade, business, or a related discipline.
• Dangerous Goods certification or experience managing Dangerous Goods shipments.
