Software Developer (C#/C++/OpenGL)

What you will do

• Design, build, test, debug, and maintain CAD and BIM software for light-gauge steel framing.
• Develop clean, efficient, and scalable code using C#, C++, and OpenGL.
• Build graphics-intensive features involving sophisticated 2D and 3D models, user experience, and design automation.
• Translate user needs and engineering requirements into practical software solutions for engineers, fabricators, and builders.
• Design software in line with engineering standards and the National Construction Code.
• Troubleshoot user issues, review code, document applications, and provide ongoing maintenance and support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant software development qualifications and experience.
• Strong programming skills in C# or C++, with experience using OpenGL or Direct3D libraries.
• Solid understanding of 2D and 3D mathematics.
• Exposure to CAD or BIM software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar platforms; graphics-heavy software experience is also relevant.
• Experience with software development tools, frameworks, version control, and Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and decision-making skills.
