What you will do

• Translate complex customer and technical requirements into software designs.
• Build, enhance, and operate the internet outbound traffic controller used during high-traffic events.
• Develop and deliver features and improvements for large-scale internet connectivity services.
• Participate in architecture decisions, design reviews, and feature prioritization.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers and Network Development Engineers to iterate on solutions.
• Monitor system health, investigate customer issues, and improve system robustness through alarms, optimization algorithms, and new features.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• Professional programming experience with at least one software programming language.
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Work in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
