What you will do
- Develop and maintain configuration management plans, processes, and standards across the product lifecycle.
- Establish product identification, configuration baselines, and engineering change controls.
- Maintain configuration records, engineering changes, product status, and baseline reports.
- Coordinate configuration audits, documentation reviews, and compliance activities.
- Support SAP procedures, master data, user training, troubleshooting, and first-level issue resolution.
- Improve configuration management operations, system effectiveness, and process consistency.
Requirements
- National Diploma or equivalent technical qualification in Engineering, Configuration Management, Technical Data Management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in Configuration Management, Product Data Management, or a similar engineering support environment.
- Experience supporting engineering development, production, and customer support programmes.
- Strong knowledge of configuration management principles, engineering change control, product structures, and technical documentation.
- Expert-level practical knowledge of SAP, including master data, configuration, troubleshooting, and user support.
- Technical and computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite; experience in regulated and quality-managed engineering environments is advantageous.
