Asset Protection Operations Coach (Retail)

Location: Onsite at 2897 Veterans Memorial Pkwy, Saint Charles, Missouri, United States

Salary: $65,000–$100,000 annually, plus potential performance bonuses and applicable pay differentials.

What you will do

• Lead merchandise presentation, inventory accuracy, pricing, signing, stocking, rotation, and store organization.
• Train, coach, supervise, and develop associates and managers across store operations, asset protection, safety, claims, receiving, and operational controls.
• Investigate fraud, policy violations, and other alleged illegal activities by gathering evidence, taking statements, writing case reports, and providing courtroom testimony when required.
• Review inventory variances, conduct operational and pre-inventory reviews, audit results, identify deficiencies, and implement corrective controls.
• Manage safety programs, monitor accident trends, train associates on prevention techniques, and implement workplace safety improvements.
• Oversee claims and receiving operations, including damaged, defective, returned, liquidated, and delivered merchandise.

Requirements

• Completion of two years of college, or one year of multi-department supervisory experience, or qualifying experience in accounting, claims, inventory control, systems/UPC, personnel, loss prevention, or asset protection.
• Alternatively, two years of experience in asset protection or a related area.
• Successful completion of applicable state requirements to work in asset protection is required.
• Current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility, criminal background check, and firearms-authorized training may be required where applicable.
• Successful completion of all required training and assessments.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in business, business management, leadership, or criminal justice.
• Certification in an asset protection or loss prevention field.
• Experience supervising five or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and termination.
• Investigative experience.
