Agent - Ocean Export Customer Service

Location: Petaling Jaya, Malaysia; onsite

What you will do

• Coordinate smooth and timely ocean export freight processes, including shipment movement, delivery, tracking, and tracing.
• Enter operational data accurately and use process monitors and workflows.
• Prepare and send customs documents, manage client invoicing, and follow customer operating procedures.
• Communicate with customers, carriers, co-loaders, brokers, trucking companies, sales, and account management teams.
• Obtain and share carrier rates and sailing schedules, respond to quotations and information requests, and analyze service contract rates.
• Maintain compliance with internal standards, government regulations, customer requirements, and department KPIs.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or an equivalent field.
• 1–2 years of related experience; fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Good knowledge of computers and MS Office applications.
• Good command of written and spoken English is required.
• Effective interpersonal, communication, listening, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of transportation documentation and terminology is advantageous.
