MCPP - Equipment Support Team Mechanic (Engineer Heavy Equip)

Location: Jacksonville, Florida, United States. Onsite role with travel required up to 70% of the time. Must be deployable within 72 hours.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and gasoline- and diesel-powered construction equipment.
• Service tractors, power shovels, road machinery, air compressors, concrete mixers, and other engine-driven or towed equipment.
• Provide technical assistance, guidance, and training to lower-level mechanics.
• Assist higher-level mechanics with equipment maintenance and repair activities.
• Follow established methods, quality standards, and applicable schedules.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Four years of directly related work experience.
• Completion of the Basic Engineer Program Mechanics Course and Engineer Equipment Chief Course, or equivalent qualifications.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Must maintain a valid passport, a valid state driver's license, and be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card and base access.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
