Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Haverhill, Massachusetts, United States; onsite industrial facility work with on-call, night, weekend, and holiday availability as required.

What you will do

• Complete planned, unplanned, and preventive maintenance to reduce equipment breakdowns and operational downtime.
• Repair, inspect, assemble, disassemble, and replace components on industrial production and processing machinery.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and investigate breakdowns and line stoppages using mechanical devices and root-cause analysis.
• Prioritize maintenance, repair, and installation work for equipment, tools, and utility systems.
• Manage work orders, spare parts, maintenance records, reports, and required plant documentation.
• Inspect machinery for operational and safety compliance and adjust maintenance activities based on performance data.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Must possess or be able to quickly obtain the Massachusetts 1C/2C Hoisting License.
• Must be available for on-call work, nights, weekends, and holidays when required.
• Ability to walk, stand, sit, climb, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, work at heights and in confined spaces, wear a full-face respirator, and work in various weather conditions.
