Application Architect (Azure/AWS)

What you will do

• Define and execute application modernization strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Assess legacy environments and recommend transformation solutions using Azure, AWS, and cloud-native technologies.
• Design scalable, secure, and resilient applications across Azure, AWS, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Develop solution blueprints, integration frameworks, and reference architectures using microservices, APIs, containers, Kubernetes, serverless, and DevSecOps.
• Guide development teams, conduct architecture reviews, and mentor engineers on architecture and modernization practices.
• Translate business and technical requirements into governed solutions aligned with security, compliance, and operational objectives.

Requirements

• Experience as an Application Architect, Solution Architect, or Enterprise Architect in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services.
• Expertise in application modernization, cloud migration, and cloud-native architecture design.
• Experience with microservices, APIs, Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift, and integration technologies.
• Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automation, security, scalability, performance, and resilience.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, consulting, and business-to-technology translation skills.

Nice to have

• Relevant Azure, AWS, or TOGAF certifications.
• Additional experience in application, solution, or cloud architecture.
