What you will do

• Support aircraft certification through integrated rig testing, flight testing, and analysis.
• Design, define, validate, and conduct tests on fuel and landing gear avionics test benches.
• Perform system-level landing gear functionality testing and investigate in-service events using avionics benches.
• Support flight testing through telemetry facilities and prepare flight-test analysis and certification documentation.
• Apply big-data techniques and develop algorithms and tools for correlating design, rig, and flight behavior.
• Collaborate with engineering teams across aircraft systems to improve system maturity, safety, and design feedback.

Requirements

• Must be an undergraduate for the full 12.5-month placement period and provide the expected graduation date.
• Studying toward a degree in engineering or science.
• Experience or knowledge of programming, such as C, Python, TCL, Matlab, or Google Apps Script.
• Data analysis, report writing, presentation, problem-solving, teamwork, and delivery skills.
• Subject to BPSS screening and potentially UK SC-level security clearance or export-control requirements, depending on the role.
