A400M Safety Engineering Placement (12 months) (Aerospace)

Location: Brize Norton, United Kingdom, based at RAF Brize Norton; occasional travel to other UK sites.

What you will do

• Promote safe working practices and safety ideas across the organisation.
• Analyse safety occurrences and compliance issues to identify root causes.
• Investigate maintenance issues and develop solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Trend safety and compliance data to identify improvement areas.
• Present findings and improvement opportunities to the wider hirify.global Engineering Community.

Requirements

• Undergraduate status must be maintained for the full 12-month placement.
• Study toward a bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or an equivalent subject.
• Understanding of data trending, analysis, and general engineering practices.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• BPSS screening is required; UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control approval may also be required depending on the role.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a car are beneficial for the location.
