Scientist, In Vivo CAR-T Pipeline (Cell and Gene Therapy)

Location: Fully onsite, lab-based position in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States

Salary: $96,267–$126,351 USD base pay per year, plus eligible performance-based bonus and/or equity.

What you will do

• Design, plan, and execute experimental studies for cell and gene therapy platforms and pipeline programs.
• Conduct and analyze in vitro and in vivo studies assessing product potency, efficacy, and safety.
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot cell-based functional, cytotoxicity, ELISA, PCR-based, and high-throughput binder-screening assays.
• Engineer cell lines and perform viral vector packaging and titration, particularly for lentiviral systems.
• Analyze complex datasets, maintain accurate experimental documentation, and prepare scientific reports and presentations.
• Communicate findings with research, early development, and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• PhD in immunology, cell biology, molecular biology, or a related field, or a master’s degree with 3–6+ years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience in immunology, cell therapy, gene therapy, or a related field.
• Experience with viral vector systems, especially lentivirus, is highly preferred.
• Scientific rigor, hands-on execution, intellectual curiosity, and ability to work in a fast-paced research environment.
• Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility is verified through Form I-9 and E-Verify.
