Establishment Forest Works Supervisor

What you will do

• Support geographical beat teams with ground preparation, restocking, and establishment of future tree crops.
• Coordinate with beat teams to deliver forest establishment works across the district.
• Supervise establishment tractors, contractors, and planting and establishment contracts.
• Complete work to high health and safety and quality standards.
• Ensure targets are delivered within agreed timeframes and solve operational challenges with colleagues.

Requirements

• Experience relevant to forest establishment, ground preparation, restocking, planting, or related works.
• Ability to supervise contractors, machinery resources, and planting operations.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently while managing practical challenges.
• Ability to communicate accurately in spoken English is required.
• Successful candidates must complete a criminal record check and Baseline Personnel Security Standard check.
