Software Engineer (Full Stack)

Location: Hybrid in Lehi, Utah, with 1 to 2 days per week in the office

Salary: $100,000–$140,000 base salary per year, excluding discretionary bonus and equity

What you will do

• Build and deliver full-stack product features for the HR, payroll, and hiring platform.
• Develop high-performance and high-availability applications and scalable distributed systems.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, engineers, Product, GTM, and Customer Success teams.
• Apply test-driven development to deliver reliable, high-quality software.
• Design and optimize systems using SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Contribute to cloud technology solutions and continuously improve engineering productivity.

Requirements

• 3 to 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in one or more of Ruby on Rails, Python, Java, PHP, or JavaScript.
• Experience with full-stack development, scalable systems, distributed systems, and design patterns.
• Experience with test-driven CI/CD and a strong commitment to software quality.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL or MongoDB, and understanding of when to use each approach.
• Familiarity with AWS and strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Next.js or other frontend technologies.
• Bilingual English and Chinese communication skills.
