Product Owner (Fintech)

Location: Milan, Italy; flexible smart working available

Annual base salary starting from: €57,000, plus variable remuneration based on role and performance

What you will do

• Manage business needs, product priorities, milestones, deliverables, and the squad backlog.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to define requirements, understand customer problems, and communicate release progress.
• Support Agile delivery by preparing user stories, identifying and removing impediments, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Define and monitor product and process KPIs across the end-to-end value chain.
• Support application development, technical requirements gathering, functional and technical documentation, and release versioning.
• Coordinate testing, defect resolution, code optimization, and production issue resolution.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Product Management or Project Management within complex IT projects.
• Strong knowledge of Italian and English is required.
• Excellent data analysis, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing product or process requirements, user stories, and backlogs.
• Knowledge of Lean-Agile development principles, tools, and techniques.
• Strong risk awareness, attention to detail, execution focus, bug-fixing, and code optimization skills.
