Delphi Developer (Sustainability SaaS)

Location: Remote for candidates in Europe; hybrid for candidates in Finland or the Netherlands.

hirify.global is a Helsinki-based sustainability software company developing life-cycle assessment and decarbonization tools for construction, manufacturing, and other products.

What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, and modernize applications built with Delphi.
• Implement new features and improve existing functionality with product managers, QA engineers, and developers.
• Integrate applications with APIs, databases, and web components.
• Improve application performance, scalability, quality, and usability through testing, debugging, and code reviews.
• Document technical specifications, processes, and code for long-term maintainability.
• Support migration of selected functionality to newer platforms.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Object Pascal and Delphi frameworks.
• Experience implementing efficient, maintainable, and complex algorithms.
• Experience with SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL databases.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and software engineering best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail and quality.
• Proficiency in English is required as the working language.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python.
• Experience with C#/.NET.
