Collection & Recovery Support Specialist

Location: Tukwila, WA. After full onsite training, the role may become hybrid based on performance, with 3 days onsite in Tukwila each week.

Target pay range: $26.35–$32.12 per hour. Full pay range: $21.65–$38.03 per hour.

What you will do

• Process charge-offs, involuntary account closures, and related system updates and documentation.
• Support loan modifications connected to bankruptcy, loss management, and member assistance.
• Coordinate external debt management program requests and correspondence.
• Balance and reconcile general ledger activity and report financial records to Accounting.
• Investigate exception transactions and out-of-balance conditions, protecting sensitive member and employee information.
• Respond to inquiries, manage departmental communications, and support special projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of operational experience at a financial institution.
• Full-time availability, including additional hours when necessary.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, discretion, and sound judgment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively under deadlines.
• Effective verbal and written communication and customer service skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with collections, insurance, lending products, bankruptcy, or garnishments.
