Member Service Representative (Full-Time)

Location: On-site at 4365 Imperial Ave, San Diego, California 92113, United States; may require working at or permanently transferring to neighboring branches within a reasonable commuting distance.

Salary: $23.75–$27.55 per hour

What you will do

• Provide counseling on deposit, lending, card, and other financial products.
• Open and maintain deposit accounts, loans, and related member products.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, and other routine transactions.
• Research and resolve account discrepancies and service requests.
• Identify cross-service opportunities and educate members about available products.
• Handle cash and negotiable instruments securely while following banking regulations.

Requirements

• Ability to build effective relationships through rapport, trust, diplomacy, and tact.
• Strong research, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and judgment skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-production, changing environment.
• Ability to navigate multiple systems and adapt to evolving technologies and change initiatives.
• Availability to work Monday through Saturday based on business needs.
• Completion of the required online assessment is critical for application consideration.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of deposit and loan products, services, and operational procedures.
• Customer service experience, preferably in banking or a financial institution.
