What you will do
- Develop fleet acquisition, maintenance, disposal, and cost-optimization plans.
- Manage vehicle procurement, registration, insurance, scheduling, tracking, and the full fleet lifecycle.
- Establish preventive maintenance and repair programs to reduce downtime and extend vehicle lifespan.
- Monitor fuel consumption, mileage, driver performance, routes, and asset utilization using fleet management software and GPS tracking.
- Manage supplier contracts, fleet budgets, expenditures, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Oversee driver and support-staff hiring, training, performance management, and safety programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of fleet management experience, preferably in large-scale e-commerce or logistics operations.
- Experience managing diverse fleets, including trucks, vans, and motorcycles.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair procedures, automotive systems, transportation regulations, and safety standards.
- Experience with telematics, GPS tracking, maintenance scheduling, or other fleet management software.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, along with strong negotiation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
