Intermediate Architect

Location: Chicago office, United States

Salary: $75,000–$125,000 annually, depending on experience

What you will do

• Implement project design philosophy and support project execution through design and construction phases.
• Develop design and technical drawings, visualizations, BIM models, and architectural studies.
• Coordinate with project leaders, consultants, clients, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Manage tasks and deadlines while overseeing and mentoring junior team members.
• Lead BIM modeling activities and improve project workflows, systems, and work-product efficiency.
• Participate in team meetings, client presentations, problem-solving, and design development.

Requirements

• Accredited professional degree in architecture.
• 5–15 years of post-graduate, full-time experience in an architectural firm.
• Licensed Architect in the U.S. or actively working toward U.S. licensure.
• Strong design sensibility, attention to detail, communication, and presentation skills.
• Working knowledge of local zoning ordinances, building codes, building systems, material assemblies, and engineering concepts.
• Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, Newforma, and Excel.

Nice to have

• Experience with Enscape, SketchUp, Rhino, Affinity, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience in multifamily residential, hospitality, campus environment, or aviation projects.
