Architect - Workplace - Senior

What you will do

• Lead multiple commercial workplace architecture projects from concept through construction.
• Coordinate project documentation with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, and other consultants.
• Manage client relationships, project communication, team coordination, and construction meetings.
• Resolve complex technical and design issues and develop constructible solutions.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, project manuals, submittals, substitution requests, and RFIs.
• Conduct site observations, document site reviews, and coordinate with permitting and building officials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 10+ years of experience in a commercial design firm, including commercial interiors.
• Licensed Architect; New York State licensure is preferred.
• Experience with Revit, Bluebeam Revu, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of building codes, standards, construction, building structures, and interior construction.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, relationship-management, design, and team-development skills.

Salary: $106,000–$135,000 annual base salary, plus bonuses and benefits, depending on relevant experience and local market.
