Senior Architect

Location: San Francisco, Salt Lake City, or Glendale, United States

Salary: $101,000–$152,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead architectural construction-phase services for a large-scale mixed-use development.
• Maintain design intent, functionality, safety, quality, and sustainability throughout construction.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, architectural documentation, and construction documents.
• Respond to RFIs, review submittals, and help resolve site and coordination issues.
• Coordinate building systems and technical matters with contractors, consultants, internal disciplines, and client stakeholders.
• Support quality assurance and risk management during construction.

Requirements

• Professional degree in Architecture.
• US architectural licensure is required.
• At least 12 years of relevant architectural experience.
• Experience delivering large-scale mixed-use projects, especially retail and multi-family residential developments.
• Experience with CMAR or similar collaborative project delivery models.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, documentation standards, construction coordination, codes, and project delivery workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-profile or complex urban developments.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams in large project environments.
• Experience supporting contractor coordination, field issue resolution, and construction administration.
