Project Architect (Revit)

Location: Hybrid, with weekly in-office work at the San Francisco Mission District studio and work from home

Salary: $110,000–$134,000 per year, commensurate with experience

What you will do

• Oversee project phases from schematic design through construction administration, including permitting and plan check.
• Coordinate with principals, project managers, consultants, clients, and project teams.
• Lead design detailing and full documentation for selected interior and exterior projects.
• Prepare outline specifications, schedules, work plans, client correspondence, and project documentation.
• Delegate production, rendering, presentation, and research tasks while managing deadlines.
• Review designs and documents for Planning and Building Code compliance, QA/QC, and adherence to CAD and studio standards.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience with multifamily, high-end residential, and/or commercial projects.
• Degree from a school of architecture.
• Proficiency in Revit and technical knowledge of Type V construction across all design and construction phases.
• Superior written and verbal English communication skills, including the ability to respond to client direction.
• Experience mentoring junior staff and delegating production and documentation responsibilities.
• Modern design skills with strong attention to design detail.

Nice to have

• Experience with SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, V-Ray, 3D Max, and Enscape.
• 4–5 years of project management or team-leading experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• California architect licensure or progress toward licensure.
