Author Relations Manager (Gaming)

What you will do

• Own and nurture relationships with mod authors, helping them improve their work and achieve long-term success.
• Partner with creators on strategy, user experience, product improvements, retention, growth, and monetization.
• Translate author feedback, community sentiment, and data into actionable product and business insights.
• Collaborate with Research and Development, Marketing, Quality Assurance, Support, Product, and Operations.
• Lead author-facing projects, including marketing plans and initiatives focused on growth and long-term strategy.
• Monitor modding communities and identify emerging issues, feedback, and sentiment.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in customer success, developer relations, or a related field.
• Passion for PC gaming, hands-on experience across multiple genres, and active participation in online gaming communities.
• Native-level written and spoken English.
• Daily use of Discord is required.
• Strong understanding of internet culture and online community dynamics.
• Analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of ARK modding.
• Ability to communicate fluently across creator, product, data, and internet communities.
