OSRS Community & Marketing Manager

hirify.global is developing Hefty OSRS, an app designed to reward and engage the Old School RuneScape community.

What you will do

• Act as the public face and voice of Hefty OSRS.
• Build, manage and grow the Discord community while creating content for Reddit, X and other relevant platforms.
• Develop community marketing and user-growth initiatives, including promotions, competitions, giveaways, campaigns and events.
• Introduce players to the app, respond to questions and feedback, and identify issues for improvement with the product team.
• Monitor OSRS updates, creators, conversations and community trends; report on player sentiment and emerging requests.
• Build relationships with creators, community leaders and partners while supporting launches, announcements and performance tracking.

Requirements

• Strong, current knowledge and genuine playing experience in Old School RuneScape are essential.
• Experience managing an online community, ideally in gaming.
• Strong knowledge of Discord, Reddit and X.
• Experience in social media, digital marketing, community growth or customer engagement.
• Excellent written communication skills and confidence responding publicly to player questions and criticism.
• Understanding of community moderation and reputation management, with the ability to work independently and collaborate with product, marketing and customer-support teams.

Nice to have

• Involvement in OSRS Discord servers, subreddits or other player communities.
• Relationships with OSRS creators, streamers or community leaders.
• Experience launching or growing a gaming app, platform or digital product.
• Experience creating short-form video, graphics, memes or other community content.
• Knowledge of influencer, referral, affiliate or rewards-based marketing, or analytics for measuring performance.
