Java Software Engineer

What you will do

• Design and develop software for next-generation semiconductor defect detection products.
• Build high-performance, large-scale distributed systems in a Linux environment.
• Make technical decisions focused on application scalability and performance.
• Design, prototype, implement, debug, and document software solutions for semiconductor equipment.
• Develop test procedures, troubleshoot software issues, and collaborate with internal customers on project requirements.
• Contribute to launching innovative inspection and diagnostics products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of related software engineering experience.
• Strong Java experience with networking principles and multithreading.
• Professional experience developing on Linux with Docker containers and Kubernetes.
• Ability to design and implement complex software architectures, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Nice to have

• Python proficiency.
• Experience working with high-volume data and inter-process communication.
• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Leadership experience with small projects.
