Backend Engineer (AI)

Location: Israel; hybrid work model combining office and home-based work. A temporary work-from-anywhere option is available for up to 2 months after 6 months of tenure.

What you will do

• Develop HR platform features and product capabilities in close collaboration with the Product team.
• Own the full development lifecycle, including grooming, technical design, implementation, vibe engineering, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Build and ship AI products with appropriate judgment and guardrails.
• Lead AI initiatives within the team and collaborate across development teams to scale adoption.
• Work in a continuous delivery environment with fully automated QA and deploy to production dozens of times per day.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience as a software engineer with a strong emphasis on backend development.
• Collaborative, proactive approach and a strong desire to positively impact the team, product, and customers.
• High motivation, an innovation mindset, and enthusiasm for driving new ideas forward.
• Strong critical thinking and good judgment when using AI tools, including the ability to re-check, challenge, and improve AI-generated solutions.
• Experience with AI and vibe engineering, including using and creating context concepts such as skills, agents, and rules.
• Ability to learn independently, quickly, and continuously.
• Excellent knowledge of software design and scalable architecture.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
