Senior Backend Infrastructure Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate scalable backend services and supporting infrastructure for the security platform.
• Own production systems end to end, improving availability, performance, observability, and operational readiness.
• Build and maintain ETL and data-processing pipelines for production workloads and analytics or Data Science workflows.
• Design schemas, optimize queries, manage data lifecycles, and troubleshoot PostgreSQL and ClickHouse systems.
• Develop event-driven processing with Kafka and integrate it with backend services.
• Build and improve AWS and GCP infrastructure using Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, monitoring, and automation.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of backend or infrastructure engineering experience in production environments.
• Backend engineering skills in one or more general-purpose programming languages, including experience building and operating production services.
• Experience designing distributed systems and debugging complex performance and reliability issues.
• Hands-on PostgreSQL experience with data modeling, schema design, query performance, migrations, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with ClickHouse and Kafka, or similar analytical database and event-streaming technologies.
• Experience building ETL or data-processing pipelines, including support for analytics or Data Science workflows.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code.
