Field IT Support Technician

Location: Detroit, Michigan, with travel to nearby office and airport facilities

Salary: $60,300 per year

What you will do

• Implement, maintain, and repair desktop devices, peripherals, telephone systems, network devices, and specialized equipment.
• Perform physical installs, moves, adds, and changes for workstations, network hardware, and peripheral systems.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on Windows-based workstations.
• Communicate with end users to deliver responsive and accurate technical support.
• Travel to local sites and provide support during weekend and after-hours periods when required.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of relevant IT technical support experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows workstation environments and foundational knowledge of network and server systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel to local sites, including rare overnight travel, and work a flexible on-call schedule.
• Must pass an extensive background check and drug screen and be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• CompTIA A+ certification.
• Experience supporting airline or transportation infrastructure.
