Intern, Finance

Location: Garden Grove, California; 4–5 days in-office per week. Full-time hours of 40 hours per week. An $1,000 relocation stipend is available for interns living more than 50 miles from Garden Grove.

Salary: $25–$35 USD per hour.

What you will do

• Support financial reporting and analysis for Manufacturing, Quality, Material Planning, and Logistics.
• Track labor costs, non-compensation costs, inventory movements, material consumption, freight, and logistics expenses.
• Build standardized tools for monthly close, forecasting, variance analysis, headcount, labor efficiency, and capital expenditures.
• Identify data-flow, accrual, and cost-classification issues affecting cost of goods sold in partnership with Accounting.
• Improve spreadsheet-heavy workflows through automation, dashboards, structured trackers, and documented processes.
• Reconcile operational data with financial reporting outputs and support the use of NetSuite, planning models, and reporting tools.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States or able to obtain a J-1/F-1 visa.
• Strong interest in manufacturing, operations, and data-driven problem solving.
• Comfort working with Google Sheets or Excel; curiosity to learn advanced techniques.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.

Nice to have

• MBA or related master's degree, pursued or completed.
• Python knowledge.
• Prior internship or work experience in finance, analytics, operations, or engineering.
