Finance and Accounting Internship (Corporate Finance)

Location: Mettawa, Illinois, United States; hybrid schedule with at least three days per week onsite at hirify.global headquarters.

Salary: $18.00–$26.00 per hour

hirify.global is a global marine company developing recreational boating technologies, propulsion systems, and marine experiences through brands including Mercury Marine, Boston Whaler, Sea Ray, and Freedom Boat Club.

What you will do

• Lead finance and accounting projects from scoping through final presentation.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and business performance drivers.
• Develop financial models, reports, dashboards, and analytical tools.
• Partner with finance, accounting, and business leaders to evaluate opportunities and solve business challenges.
• Present project updates, insights, and recommendations to senior finance and business leaders.
• Contribute to process improvement, automation, mentorship, networking, and professional development initiatives.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, leadership, and initiative skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Available full-time, 40 hours per week, from June through August 2027.
• Permanent authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship; this position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Previous internship, co-op, leadership, or relevant work experience.
• Coursework or experience in accounting, corporate finance, financial analysis, or financial modeling.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, ERP, planning, reporting, or financial systems.
• Leadership involvement through student organizations, athletics, volunteering, academic projects, or community engagement.
