What you will do
- Develop cost quotations and present business cases for new automotive business opportunities.
- Estimate costs for changes to existing products and track program costs throughout the lifecycle.
- Review bills of materials, manufacturing assumptions, and investment requirements for reasonableness.
- Communicate and defend cost assumptions, risks, and opportunities across the organization.
- Analyze cost variances and financial metrics, including manufacturing conversion rates.
- Support supplier sourcing and negotiation, process improvements, and special projects such as make-versus-buy analysis and footprint moves.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in finance, operations, manufacturing, or engineering within the automotive industry.
- Strong computer skills, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Purchasing, and Sales.
- Occasional travel is required.
