Location: Arlington, Texas, with 50% of the position at Arlington South and 50% at the Fort Worth Cancer Center

What you will do
- Provide direct diagnostic and therapeutic patient care in outpatient, inpatient, and surgical settings.
- Document visits, order and review diagnostic studies, prescribe medications, manage symptoms, and provide patient and family education.
- Perform appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in collaboration with physicians.
- Coordinate referrals and collaborate with healthcare providers, staff, students, and the local medical community.
- Participate in tumor boards, institutional training, meetings, clinical research, and oncology education programs.
Requirements
- Eligible background as a Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Clinical Nurse Specialist.
- For Nurse Practitioners and Clinical Nurse Specialists: an accredited MSN and completed specialty program, with current RN and state licensure.
- For Physician Assistants: completion of an accredited PA program, current NCCPA certification, and state licensure.
- Current BLS/CPR certification is required.
- Ability to handle and lift patients, stand and walk for extended periods, and occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
Nice to have
- Experience level aligned with Level 1, Level 2, or Senior classifications: 0–3, 3, or 6 years of experience respectively.
- Interest in treatment coordination, survivorship, genetic consultations, high-risk clinics, or advanced care planning.
- Experience in clinical research, mentorship, leadership, publications, or professional speaking.
